Broadcast in a programme of NRW.TV

For the first time a divine service of the New Apostolic Church in Germany will be broadcast on a TV channel. In other countries, particularly in Africa, this has been a common practice for many years. On Sunday, the 24th of May 2009 the service which Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber will hold in the LTU arena with up to 50,000 participants, will be broadcast from 7 pm to 9 pm in a programme of the NRW.TV company

NRW.TV can be received in analogue form and in the digital cable television network of Unitymedia. The cable distribution is individual for each region and can be consulted in the online offering of the company.

Receivable per live stream

The divine service can also be received beyond the federal land of North Rhine-Westphalia. The live programme can be watched via a live stream of the website of NRW.TV. It should be made aware, however, that due to demand, the server capacity may be insufficient.

NRW.TV will furthermore report on the divine service from the European Youth Day of the New Apostolic Church. Articles are planned in "Guten Morgen NRW" (between 6 and 9 am with repeats) and in the evening „News“ (6 pm, repeats at 7 45 pm and 9 45 pm).

The youth will also advertise

The best advertisement will be made by the youth who are taking part, when they are underway in the city wearing their T shirts and scarfs and spreading their cheerful spirit.

At the press conference in March District Apostle Brinkmann had already publicised, “Tens of thousands of young people, who have goodness at heart and who gladly want to share their positive sentiments with others – so much optimism is almost unimaginable in this time of worldwide financial crisis” said the head of the New Apostolic Church in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The advertisements in the “Rheinischen Post” and the “Neuen Rhein Zeitung” are available on the website of the New Apostolic Church North Rhine-Westphalia for downloading.
